Return policy

At Decathlon we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our dedication to customer satisfaction. We allow up to 90 days returning your items.
HERE ARE THE PERFECT NEVER-TO-FAIL SCENARIOS FOR A RETURN
RETURN IT THE WAY YOU RECEIVE IT
We prefer to receive our products back in their original condition, unused and in their original packaging.
MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
In case of a manufacturing defect, we take complete responsibility to take it back. No questions asked.
Please Note - Decathlon team retains the right to accept or refuse the return and will choose the adapted solution (exchange, partial or full refund)

  • 3. Print the Return form.
You need to follow all steps and print your returns form. Enclose it with product(s) and package up securely. If you cannot print the return form, please include a note stating your order number, name, contact details, item code, size, qty, reason for return. Without these details we won't be able to take the action on your return.

If you have several orders to return, you have the option to return them at the same time. However, please mention all the Order IDs separated by commas. Please remember to include the return form inside the package.
The return postage cost for any unwanted product, for a refund, will be at your expense.
If your ordered product is faulty or if you received the wrong item, we will pay for the cost of return. However, you will be asked to provide pictures showing the damage.
Contact our team at 01313084550 (from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm every day) to organize the return of faulty goods.
To return your online order in store, please bring your product, mention at the CHECKOUT point in the store about your online return and your mobile number or email ID. Our team will do the rest.

If you are returning items to your Decathlon store, you can receive a cash refund instantly.

Within 12 business days from when the products were received in our store, you should receive a refund via the initial method of payment used to place the order. Prior to that, to confirm you, within 2 business days from when the products were received in our store, we will send you a confirmation email that the return was processed.

If your payment method is COD (Cash on Delivery), you will receive the amount in your bank account. So, please mention your bank account details in the Return Form correctly.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD
If you paid online using a credit or debit card, you will be refunded to the same card used to pay for the order.
BKASH
If you paid online using BKASH you will be refunded to your BKASH account.
For Online purchase, you can return a product following the return process and you can place a new order.
Items purchased in the store can be returned in the store and by post both. For in-store purchase return, please bring the product and ask any of the team mates in the store for the return. They will do the rest.

You can also return your product purchased from the store by post. Please follow the “HOW TO RETURN AN ONLINE ORDER BY POST?” to complete the return process.

Right now, we are not processing any exchange for Online purchase. If you want to exchange your product, you need to follow the return process for the purchased product and you need to create a new order for your desired one.

If you did not receive the email confirming your return was processed within 7 days after returning the items, contact our team at 01313084550 (from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm every day).

Please note that in this case you may be asked to provide proof of shipment (e.g. receipt or tracking code given to you by the delivery company when shipping the items), so that we can investigate the cause of the delay.

You have the option to return the faulty items to our store, where Decathlon team members can have a look at them and investigate the fault.

Alternatively, you can contact our team at 01313084550 (from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm, every day) to arrange a return of your online order by post. Please note that in this case you will be asked to provide pictures showing the damage. If the team confirms about the defect, you will be contacted and we will arrange a pick up from your place of the faulty product at our own cost.

Decathlon cannot organize a return if products have been damaged on purpose or used outside of their means.

If the item is no longer under warranty, unfortunately we will not be able to refund a faulty item. You can find warranty information in “Warranty” section.

On most products of Decathlon sold online, you can enjoy a 2 year warranty while some products may offer a 5 to 10 year warranty as well The warranty holds good for products that are used within the prescribed norms. Those that are not eligible for warranty are:
1) Products that have surpasses the warranty period
2) Damages due to misuse of product
3) Incidental damage to the product
4) Products that do not have serial/chassis number (Bikes and gym equipment)
5) Malfunction of digital product due to user settings
6) Negligence and improper care in maintenance of the product
7) Products that come under the category of natural wear and tear (tires, racket guts, bearings, wheels, etc)
WARRANTY ON CLOTHING
- Most apparels have a 2 year warranty policy
- Warranty is ensured on the quality of the fabric, zippers and buttons
- NO WARRANTY on induced tears, fading due to detergents, a leaking phenomenon, etc
WARRANTY ON SWIMMING PRODUCTS
- 2 year warranty on the Quality of the product, stitching and color
- NO WARRANTY on physical induced damage, inappropriate usage or negligence
WARRANTY ON SHOES
- 2 years warranty on the Quality of the product, stitching, color, sole and in case of a manufacturing defect
- NO WARRANTY on laces and mesh of the shoe
- NO WARRANTY on physical induced damaged, inappropriate usage or negligence
WARRANTY ON FITNESS/GYM EQUIPMENT
- 2 years warranty on all items like dumbells, kettlebells, adjustable hand grip, bench etc.
- NO WARRANTY on physical induced damage, inappropriate usage or negligence
WARRANTY ON RACQUET SPORT PRODUCTS
- 2 years warranty on - Shoes and Apparel (refer details mentioned above)
- NO WARRANTY on guts, sweat bands and Towels
- No warranty can be claimed on physical or induced damage
- Wear and tear of balls and shuttle corks
WARRANTY ON CRICKET EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES (FLX)
- All decathlon FLX cricket products including our bats come with a 2 years warranty, in case of any defects on the products.
- Warranty does not cover any wear and tear issues
- Warranty does not cover any misuse of products
WARRANTY ON TEAM SPORTS AND RELATED PRODUCTS
- 2 years warranty applicable on all products unless otherwise specified on the same
- 6 months warranty on the football bladder
- Refer Clothing, Apparel and Shoes warranty terms above**
WARRANTY ON SLEEPING BAGS
- 5 years warranty on sleeping bags
WARRANTY ON BACKPACKS
- 10 years warranty on all hiking and trekking backpacks except the ultra compact backpacks
